In June 2010, WardComm had the great fortune to be introduced to Ed Jarrett, holder of the Guinness World Record for the Tallest Sandcastle.  A relative newcomer to Connecticut, transplanted from Maine, Jarrett first broke the tallest sandcastle record in 2003, then again in 2007.  His latest project, Jarrett’s Castle, is an attempt to break his own record in Spring 2011.

WardComm has been thrilled to contribute skills and expertise, pro bono, to the multi-charity fundraiser – coordinating and executing traditional media relations initiatives (resulting in television and print coverage), developing the event website, and managing social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter).
